Took a major L on craigslist today (no courtdog)

I used to sell stolen Iphones all the time on Craigslist, but they would still work since it was from a store and not a person, but anytime you are dealing with sprint or verizon, have them meet you at a sprint or verizon store, and if they cant then dont pay them until you get the phone activated on your account I thought this was common knowledge.

Sealed doesnt mean anything because the IMEI is right on the back of the box. You dont even need to open the package. Your best bet is to sell it to a cricket user..you should be able to get 250-275 back.
ALso, ive been buying and selling on Craigslist for damn near 6 years now. Countless phones...never really had an issue. Except with cheap b*stards. Copped an unlocked 5 for my girl for 250...sold my old fridge for 150 in less than 24 hours...guess i can say "Craigslist been good to a nikka"

What folks dont know is with sprint, you can now get on the website and reactivate a oldddd ass phone that you had before to clear the phone you trying to sell. I went on there and reactivated my old ass Epic 4g and then sold the (now clear) iphone to some dude on CG.

Indian dude tried this on me 2 yrs ago. I had the phone listed for $200 and he put $160 in my hand.

I gave the $160 back and pretended to call the next buyer.

He folded in like 10 seconds and gave me the $200.

was trying to cop a iPhone 5c for my girl on the low for sprint, found some nikka on there selling it for $275 (that should have been my first red flag). I meet up with dude, nikka looked like a straight bum (another red flag, don't buy phones from homely looking nikkas brehs) so he's like;

"No funny business, I'm am a licensed gun user" I'm like okay nikka where is the phone? Dude had the phone sealed somehow so I just gave him the money and dipped without checking the esn or imei. Get to the sprint store to activate the phone... cashier tells me the phone has been reported stolen. So I rush to call dude back and I notice the damn phone is in the case ringing .
That nikka got me good brehs....

The phone still under warranty so I'm trying to see if I can swap this joint at apple and turn this into a W....fml

Nope Tmo/Att are flagging stolen phones now and sharing data base of bad imei's. One off the new tricks is to get a new phone, sell it than report it stolen. Than the phone get gets flagged.

its funny 2 cause the nikka that im talking about isnt a broke dude whatsoever, always fly got a couple gold links/watches, always with new gagdets, kids is always fresh, got like 2 whips..he not starving...but idk man who knows

me personally i most likely wouldve gave it back because 1) im a android guy on boost mobile and 2)i wouldve felt bad and thought it belong to a kid looking for a pumpkin or someshyt

I lost on Craigslist once and it was my fault.

Messages a guy for a used iPhone 3GS selling it for $50.. He said all he needed was a screen replacement so I didn't bother to ask for pics. I'm like how bad can it be?

Go to meet the guy and the phone is in horrible condition. Case is completely cracked, screen shattered yet surprisingly the phone worked so I bough it. I got the phone for $40 but I still lost for not checking photos and wasted my time and my money

I have bought at least 5 cell phones off craigslist plus sold my last two iphones on craigslist. WHENEVER you are gonna buy a cell phone off there, tell them to include the MEID # for the phone so you can verify with sprint that the phone ain't stolen before hand.

I bought one for my moms for verizon off craigslist, and the same thing. verified the #'s beforehand before even meeting with the dudes or haggling price.

when I sell a phone, I put a screenshot of the phone info so they can verify before hand and makes for an easier sell IMO.
