Took the plunge and copped a refurbished Macbook. Tell me what ya'll think.

People hear the word "refurb" and immediately assume the worst, but I always tell people looking to buy a Mac to take a look at the refurbs first. Apple refurbs are basically like getting a new machine. Same warranty, same chance to get Applecare, etc.

The only difference is it comes in a plain white box instead of the initial retail packaging.

man, I bought my wife an refurb ipad 1 when those first came out, and it came in an official apple box. my MPB came in a white box. I don't give a shyt tho

I always throw boxes to stuff in my basement anyways.
