as a long time windows PC person, I FINALLY took the plunge and copped a Macbook. I didn't wanna drop my own cash on it tho, but my boy told me, I could just get a barclay card and cop it with that, cuz there's no interest for like 18 months. and that's cool with me, cuz I'll probably pay for this shyt in full at the end of May at the latest. Also, I know the new macbooks just came out, but I don't know what a force touchpad is anyways so fukk it. The one I got is still going for like $1700 at best buy. But here's the one I copped:

I'm fine with the HDD size. I don't need TB's of storage. and I can always use an external.

my only question, is why can't I upgrade the RAM tho? isn't it accessible if I remove the back panel?

512GB flash storage :wow:

I have the 128Gb version
Its does what a laptop was designed to be

Lightweight
Looks great
High resolution
Battery life is well above average
And runs so cool

my current laptop. this shyt gets hot. firefox be eating up all my RAM. and the hinges are getting loose. overall, it's getting :flabbynsick: and it's time for a new one. plus, I know you can use remote desktop with apple, so I'm gonna install the remote desktop app so I can access my work PC that runs windows.

and that 10 hour battery life is gonna be :ohlawd:

having the flash memory is gonna make reboots a breeze and no moving parts mean it should NEVER get hot for the most part.

does this laptop have 2 or 3 USB ports tho?

That sucks you can't upgrade the ram or drive space.

Copped my refurbished MacBook pro five years ago. Came with a 160 GB HD w/ 2 GB of ram . It's been upgraded to a 750 WD BLACK HD with 6GB of RAM :obama:

As for the battery thing, I had to get that replaced before it got to the motherboard two years ago :whew: I had the late 2009 model where the battery was under the track pad :beli: shyt expanded to the point I couldn't even click on the pad because the battery was pushing it when it expanded. Had to get the track pad fixed also but it could've been a whole lot worse than $250 to fix .

Did the same thing about a year and a half ago and got my wife a Macbook Air. First laptop that lasted in my house for over a year with no signs of wear and tear. This is excellent considering we have a two year old running around :heh:

Was disappointed in that Barclay card though. Back when I got one, it didn't have rewards or anything. It was only good for the initial purchase with no interest. The regular interest rate is ridiculous. I quickly paid it off but they keep increasing my limit :wow: I'd buy a pro if I could get another promo like that.
