Breh I swear go get some coconut oil and swish it in your mouth for like 25 min. The kind you cook with.

I know your pain. 2015 was a terrible year for me because of my wisdom teeth. I remember reading a forum and a poster said that wisdom tooth pain will have you up at 3am praying to God to take even a litttle bit of the pain away and I thought he was joking until it happened to me. :mjcry:

I lived off of Tylenol and Advil. My day would start with Tylenol, then 4 hours later Advil, then Tylenol 4 hours later and they never lasted for that long so I'd be in pain for about an hour until I could take another one. I would get horrible migraines sometimes my vision would get blurry or completely black out for a few seconds. As soon as I got my tooth pulled, that all went away.

only thing that works for a tooth ache is vicodin. i got oxy for a tooth ache, did nothing!

i don't take pain killers or drugs but a few months ago had the worst tooth ache of my life, the absolute worst pain i've ever felt. i was on my floor curled in a ball crying with an ice pack to my face. the only thing that "relieved" some of the pain was room temperature water. went to the hospital cause i was so desperate for some relief they gave me some oxy and sent me on my way. it worked for not even 2 hours before i was back in pain. i'm surprised i even fell asleep. next day i was at the dentist in tears from the pain like "hurry up and pull this bytch out!" i've never felt more relief in my life

i wouldn't wish a tooth ache on my worst enemy.

Haven't had a toothache since childhood. I'm reading this thread like :hamster:

Please go to the dentist. Toothache's can turn into something very serious if you don't get it taken care of early. Also, brush two times a day, get some mouthwash and floss. If you can good daily hygiene habits you can save yourself a lot of trouble in the long run.
Preach.
People don't care about their teeth until they're in pain.
Everyday I have people that decline X-rays (for whatever reason) and I have to tell them without X-rays I can't see if you have anything going on beneath the gums (and I legit had a patient ask me why).
The dentist will tell patients they need to get fillings/root canals/crowns done & the patients won't because they're "not in pain", and like clockwork the next time they're in the office theyre in pain.
i knew i had a cavity but didn't realize it was that bad it just happened one day when i was at work went from 0-100 like nothing. the longer i had it the worst i felt. from 3 pm on a friday until 1pm the next day i got it pulled
Well why didn't you get the cavity fixed before it got to that point?
I do breh.
Hell I just had cleaning done a month ago and everything was fine
Did they take X-rays at that visit?
Dentist quoted me two grand for a root canal and a crown. I took their prescription for antibiotics and never went back.
You don't have dental insurance?
In my office a crown is $1,280; I don't know what the cost of a root canal is, but with fidelis insurance (if they cover it) it's $760
fakkits cant get me in until 1030

im done with them after today
So just because you are in pain they're supposed to drop everything and see you first?

Damn I feel for you op. I had broken a wisdom tooth that would bother me when I ate. Got worse as it began to decay, that sharp pain was no joke. Didn't have insurance to afford to get it fixed, had to ride it out, and stayed with toothpicks and paperclips on my person :francis:
Eventually got that shyt yanked out in VN, was nerve-racking as hell but worth it in the end. Lot of folk I know out here go to Mexico for dental work cause it ain't as expensive

Edit- oh another option (a coworker recommended to me) a dental school. Lady sweared by her experience but I kept putting it off

I don't remember exactly but I got that wisdom tooth pulled for around 2mil vnd, 100 usd. That was two years ago. My girl took me to a hospital that would treat foreignors, they wouldn't do it at the State hospital iirc. She Viet kieu.

Didn't get anything but ibuprofen and antibiotics afterwards tho :francis:

Edit- probably easy to wander in to a foreign specialist and pay much more tho too
