I enjoyed this Rumble more than last year, despite the outcome. I have no problem with AJ at three, Axel got acknowledged, Jericho is Jericho.

I don't think this Rumble was better than the one year Batista won. The only part that sucked about that one was Batista winning. But Rusev debuted, Shield was great, Kofi fukkery, CM punk and Kane fukkery, DB fukkery.

Kevin Owens was literally the only person in the Rumble who could eliminate AJ Styles without the crowd going completely berserk. They did a good job with that.

There's a gif of him doing AJ's taunt after he turfed him. If you look in the background there's someone in the audience flipping him off.

That's how good a heel he is. He lets you cheer for him and then is when he does heel shyt and people react like

yeah the issue is that they botched something major in the rumble in every way since 2011 when del rio won and then sheamus and then cena even before the last 3 years
