I will say this though, as Hip Hop has become more mainstream and he's preseved his legacy, I think Nas is becoming more known even if not as much as the 10 artists listed there. Its like in Rock, cats know Metallica, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jame etc and then you have Rush, Pixies etc who are credible, major and still important and that's probably where a Nas, KRS, Rakim, Mobb Deep etc lie

I am saying that Foxy literally has made no noise at all since 1999, meanwhile Nas who is not popular has at least put out an album that charted within the last decade. I absolutely agree that Nas is near zero as far as being known to non hip hop heads, but Foxy is literally zero, zip, zilch, i cannot imagine someone who does not listen to hip hop would know who foxy brown is at all... 1% is much bigger than 0%

foxy brown was neck-n-neck with kim for years in name recognition. at least on the urban tip. not to mention that her name alone made a splash with older folks. foxy brown? hello?

nas only household moment was belly. and that movie wasn't ALL THAT big, and there were 3 bigger-named rappers/singers in the movie on top of that.

nas still being on the charts is just some rap chit. foxy brown losing her hearing grabbed more headlines.
