Nothing I've seen from Destiny has impressed me.

I haven't seen Dying Light mentioned yet. The clips I've seen have looked really cool.
Rumor is it's delayed til 2015. I think it'll be good but I didn't like the combat in dead island too much. The parkour definitely looks interesting though.

That's too bad about the delay. I never played Dead Island, but the parkour is what's drawn me to the game.

TORONTO!
Can't really give a top ten without too many solid release dates. The three games that I know are getting copped are Child of Light, Destiny, and Watch Dogs. Hoping for some big 2014 surprises to be announced at E3 this year

LOL sorry breh, I don't have a Wii or a Wii U so I can't really say I'm looking forward to those games.
Super Smash Bro's, Sunset Overdrive (y'all may laugh but Insomniac is a great developer IMO), Quantum Break, Halo 2 Remake are all going to be great I'm sure but I'm a PlayStanley :birdman:

Honestly as it stands this looks to be the weakest line up of games for a year in a long ass time.

The entire fps genre is beyond stale at this point.

In fact, gaming in general is stale right now.

As much as people rag on nintendo, the entire gaming industry is the same. Feels like gameplay has been stagnant since the ps2/gamecube days.

How people get excited about more halo, more assassins creed more gta etc is beyond me.

I have to disagree sir.
I can understand if gaming seems a bit stale right now if you're only looking at "AAA" games but if you branch out to smaller studios there's still a ton of cool stuff going on.
For example just look at Galak-Z, I don't think I've ever played a game like that before a deep physic based game with advanced situationally aware AI all with a great anime aesthetic?
Or how about Below? by Capybara Games that takes influences from Dark Souls and Zelda?
Just check out this video for Severed by DrinkBox (which made Guacamelee) and tale me that that's stale

Check out a game like Kingdom Come Deliverence and tell me if you've experienced something like that before.

The great thing about these new consoles is that where once these smaller games were only available on PC now more people can enjoy and explore them.

I've been wanting to go back to my roots in gaming (1 player games like RE, God of War type games) but I'm starting to love co-op games as long as they are fun and I got my friends to roll with so basically anything co-op this year I'm waiting on.

Good Write up of the recent PAX talk
Ashe | LadyInsanity, "If we do our job, you’ll tell us in 6 months....
The Inquisitor will experience and shape the world through directly influencing the world. With the antagonist hidden and an environment clouded in conspiracy, soldiers are uprooting evildoers at your command and the Inquisition is gaining prestige and power. Your party is the “vanguard” that heads change. By sending troops to fix towers and gain extra areas, your power rises. You, as the Inquisitor, have very unique abilities, involved with closing the rifts, that no other man or woman can do. It’s up to you how to handle the chaos in the world.

Because of multiple regions, every level offers its own challenge. Enemies are unique to the ecosystem, while environmental elements like desert ruins or the coastline with steep hills offer different conflict.
Keep in mind that ecosystems deplete over time, if you hastily wipe out an area. Sometimes you will have to wait for certain areas to repopulate. The developers are not encouraging grinding/farming in these systems, but to make sure that the ecosystem is organic to how an area would naturally feel.

Kill a few wolves. Let them live. Come back a few times every now and then, and you get a new coat. Maybe down the line, you’ll make a pair of shoes.

But, kill them all at the same time and you might wait be out of luck the next time you need fancy armor.
Nice!

Number 1 should be Batman
That's just like your opinion man, word on the street is that it's pretty visually stunning like best graphics of next gen good. I really enjoyed both Arkham city and Arkham asylum and I trust rocksteady but I haven't seen any gameplay and I'm not sure how well they'll incorporate the batmobile stuff while still keeping the core tenants sharp.
AC overloaded me with options and gadgets there's plenty of skills I never used just cause I had so many.
