Kemba isn't coming close to what Kyrie's done in the last 2-3 Finals, not even close. I fear someone might be looking too much at the box score.
The Cavs wouldn't have a ring if you swapped out Kyrie for Kemba. And Kyrie's defense, or in this case lack thereof, is overblown. He was one of the Cavs best defenders in the Finals, and typically raises his play on that side of the court during the playoffs. Kyrie has been making plays similar to these over the last three postseasons:As far as not coming close to what he's done in the Finals? Well, it's my opinion that you put him next to Lebron & Co and I think the results would be quite similar. And almost certainly better on the defensive end.

Tier 1: Curry, Westbrook and Kyrie (these 3 are bonified HOF "special" players imo
Tier 2: I. Thomas, J. Wall, Paul (great but not "great")
Tier 3: Lillard, T. Parker (i know), M. Conley (very good, HOF, and good but not great)

Tell me what was Kemba going to do to limit Curry on offense definitively more than Kyrie? Have you not seen what Curry did to the Hornets over the last couple of seasons?
