yeah it's not like all of them are, it's usually a select few. And once you've dealt with their type, they aren't hard to spot. Usually everyone in the profession knows it too. I made sure my sister in law steered clear of one for her back surgery.

This some real shyt right here. There are very few things in life more cutthroat than a Robert Half or Infosys recruiter.
If I locked a Robert Half or Infosys recruiter in a room with Stephen King's IT for a day and came back, it wouldn't be nothing but the husk of a clown corpse left and that recruiter going to be sitting on the bench sucking his teeth like "i got this job that is exactly the job you do now where you work but it pays 40% less, has no benefits, and is only a 6 month contract. . If I ever came across that dude in real life I might risk everything I have built to stomp him out for pulling that shyt . Soon as I got a management job I purposely used to jerk Robert Half recruiters around the same way they did me when I was helpdeks 5 figures no certs My dad was a journalist and I know he knew some.

I've worked in media. Not quite sure about that one overall, but at the top level...all of those folks are NUTTY. There's a certain level of detachment from human emotion you have to have to report effectively. There's also a ton of vanity and inflated senses of self.
But to be a TOP tier CEO...yeah you gotta be ok with ruining thousands/hundreds of thousands of lives, or ruin the environment, or ruin a local economy.
