Didn’t watch the video but..
How can it only be half a million for Kanye, 700 for Drake. When their shows generate far over a million bucks per show? Are these their own fees or Live Nations fees?

And Em would be a lot worse.

These things must be guesstimates like Forbes because I know for a fact that they charge differently for different cities, people and on.

to be fair ( I didnt watch the video ) this looks more like performance costs and isnt too far off (none of it) from actual 45 minute sets..

keep in mind this includes festival shows and arenas as well as 3000 person venues, etc..

Russ seems to stick to festivals only.. not only artist to do that.. they do it for their own reasons (do once a month at a college or coachella type festival and make $75k a month) but probablyp assing up millions a year in doing so

It happens a lot actually... example I contacted Bryson Tiller management (as example) earlier this year, and of course my part is more so club hosting/gigs (3-5 songs at most, etc.) and they told me hes not doing any clubs all year. French Montana at one point was only doing festivals, etc.

Russ, as weird as he is.. does seem to have a festival crowd.. I personally cant name a single song of his, but if you look at his instagram its all thats marketed not so much club appearances

hes not like someone like Future or Migos who will tour all year on multiple different tours..

if hes only doing say... 15 dates a year then thats cool money for him, I guess.. less work.. work smarter not harder type shyt.. but is he capitalizing on the actual money he could be making ? no.. but most artists arent either

Also, all of this is negotiable. Ive seen artists go from $35-40k to $10k in a week of negotiations before :manny:

That's really interesting actually

How do promoters negotiate lower fees with the artists?
