Cliffhanger was an underrated joint in the 90s. Very enjoyable. The whole setting was unlike any of these other movies, up in the mountains and shyt, trying to survive the weather elements and the group of mercenaries.

Dont get me wrong I like thunderdome I just thought it was a huge step down from mad max 2. I think the director might have even confirmed it as a kids movie, explains all the slapstick humor at the end during the big chase scene.

I think the trailer I saw was in the movie theater so it might have been one of those 5-10 minute previews you see sometimes. I mean I was just a kid at the time so it's hard to remember now but it was basically Stallone and ol' girl on the wire and him reaching for her hand
