some variant of the Nike Air Max (...*in my head* Air Max 90 in particular) is the one shoe I believe every man should own. The rest is subjective. I feel the Nike Air Max are affordable, readily available, multi-terrain, well designed (form & function) and varied enough that all generations can rock with them.
