You're seriously tryna argue that between the Bay, Fresno & Sac there ain't 50 actual rappers?
If I really tightened the belt and only included Norcal rappers who charted on the billboard 100 Hip Hop/R&B chart, racked up 20 million + views on a single video and/or have demonstrable clout in hip hop culture, you're still pushing damn near 50 rappers.1) Del

If you're a hip hop head you've heard of all these nikkas or inadvertently heard at least one of their songs. I ain't even name no hometown legend type nikkas like J. Stalin, San Quinn, Seagram, etc. or a lot of artists with loyal underground fanbases like Andre Nickatina, Main Attrakionz, GQ, etc.
Only 5 of the aforementioned are relevant, and only 3 are good.

For all the bay hip hop heads on here, Mike "Dream" Francisco's birthday was yesterday. He would have been 50. The annual Dream Day event will be held in Mosswood Park tomorrow. For folks that don't know, he was a pioneer of the East Bay graffiti scene, political activist, and all around amazing person. He was killed during a robbery in 2000. Oakland later named a day after him in his honor. He also did the insert for Saafir's Boxcar Sessions album cover.
Tech is also holding a 20 year reunion there tomorrow as well, so it should be cracking.

I USED TO DATE YOUNG ED’S COUSIN BACK N THE DAY .. SHE GAVE ME HIS BIG BREAD ED EXTENDED ALBUM N I WAS BANGIN THAT THE ENTIRE SUMMER OF 08. TIME 2 STACK IS A CLASSIC, BUT IT WAS ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE TBH.
