@DStyles
g-unit is a crew. not a group.
yep.
yes indeed.
i remember the jungle bros when they were out. thank you very much. and i thought they were cornier back in the day than i do now so be happy.
if i learned history thru vh1, bet, and these other outlets that you claim, then i wouldnt even know who the jungle brothers are.
btw, did you enjoy that video i uploaded for you yesterday? you got mighty quiet in the other thread.
What video and what thread?
So beg for mercy wasn't a group album?

dont act like you didnt get quiet in that clipse/epmd thread all a sudden.
nope. its a glorified compilation album.
g-unit was a mixtape crew/record label. the whole purpose of "beg for mercy" was to establish banks & buck as solo stars.
besides, even if they were a group, they wouldnt have made the list anyway.
I have no idea what you're talking about. If its the Erick Sermon praising Bizzy clip, why would I have any problem with that? Plus, I didn't watch it yet.
The Unit would still be putting out fire today if they made another group/crew album. TOS was fire son

album was average at best. and im somebody that was following g-unit for years leading up to that.
50 was pretty much on his last leg by the time he hit mainstream. thats one of the reasons why he allegedly fell off so quickly. i believe that he already had his entire run of quality while he was blackballed & unsigned. that and him selling out had alot to do with it too.
GRODT was moreso his curtain call, rather than his "debut".
@Mike Statik
you seriously think m.o.p. has a better singles catalog than salt n pepa?
out of all the groups on the list that you couldve made a case for, why would you pick salt n pepa? because theyre females?![]()
