it doesnt help that the lox only have 5 singles. if they knocked them all out the park, they would be higher, but their 2 commercial jawns was.
i had trouble placing them. they had alot of hits but barely any knockouts. mostly jabs. i actually had them at like #31 initially. they were too high. now i kinda feel like theyre too low.
why are yall picking on kriss kross? lol. 2 people called them out so far.
good point.
my thing is, some of those timeless classic party joints, werent singles. correct me if im wrong.

Me So Horny was a single and so was Banned In The USA. Hoodrat Hoochie Momma was recorded just for the Friday soundtrack so it wasn't a 'single' per say so you are right there but its still a popular song.
Jump has a great nostalgic feel to it but I can't say that their singles had a bigger impact. That Miami Bass sound was not only super popular but influenced a lot of DJs as well, pretty much laid the ground work for a lot of dance music.
not saying that "jump" had a bigger impact but it was up there. and its not nostalgia. most of their singles still go hard to this day while "me so horny" & "banned in the usa" have aged poorly. i would say that luke's best singles came after 2 live crew.
but yea, in terms of impact, 2 live crew's singles catalog is top 20 easily. that and influence is mostly why theyre on this list. i do feel that they may be a tad bit low tho. where would you rank them?
