I don’t want to sound pessimistic, but as much as I loved Top Gun: Maverick, the reason it was loved was because of scarcity. 1 and 2 were 36 years apart, well thought out, and crafted with a term of endearment. Now 3 is going to be pumped out in 3 years?

Idk… who knows. I’m probably going to be wrong and this comment will look funny in retrospect. I did say Tom Cruise
was probably kicking himself for holding out for so long on making a sequel and thus making this a franchise and that looks to be correct.
