And Lebron is the perfect basketball player as we saw Game 5, 2007 torching some of the same members of that PERFECT DEFENSIVE TEAM. Prince had no answers.
:what:

Different coach, different rules and different players.

The defense the Pistons played on Kobe was not legal in 2007. We all saw what happened to Lebron when he faced defenses similar to the 04 Pistons. (07 Spurs and 08 Celtics.) He flopped both times.

Stop trying to re-write history. :snoop:

Of course they would be successful. It's 2 top ten players of all time. But...

I love how Kobe haters Act like Shaq's career started in 2000.:shaq2: Shaq heading into that year was swept out of the playoffs in 94, 95, 96, 97, 99 with zero finals wins. He had loaded teams in Orlando with ALL NBA 1st team Penny and good role players. Then came to a Laker team that won 50 games the year before he came and they still lost for 3 years. Most of the time they lost because they fell apart in the 4th quarters and didnt have a guy that could consistently close games.

Then In Kobe's 1st full year as a starter, becomes one of the best players in the league, they win titles and then Nikkas act like shaq had been winning chips forever:comeon:

I'm not saying Shaq wasnt great but Bryant was a huge part of it. His scoring,Playmaking skills,Defense, and ability to close games was essential. He saved Shaq and The Lakers Ass multiple times. The game being one of them, prob the most important of the Dynasty

:beli: Bron would be 14-15 years old playing with Shaq in his prime :heh: It don't make sense. Which Bron are you talking about? The thing people never bring up is what if you replace Shaq with Duncan or KG with Kobe, now how many rings does Kobe have now, as Duncan and KG had more longevity than Shaq did, and both were a lot more hungry (on the court) and had better work ethic than Shaq. :childplease: Yall make it like Kobe was just another guy, tell me a player that was a 2nd option or any player that can put up these number against the number 1 seed 2001 Spurs with the best defense: 33, 7, and 7 shooting 51%. What great defense has Bron faced that were even comparable or even on the level of those Spurs defense?

'08 C's defense was better than that Spurs squad. Just off the fact that they existed in the illegal defense era when you couldn't load the strong side.

You put young Bron with a prime Shaq and Derek Fisher shooting lights (nikka couldn't miss during that '01 po run) and he goes ham on that squad too. I don't see how he wouldn't.

Young Bron and a prime Shaq would've fit together pretty seamlessly. Remember Kobe was an awful 3pt shooter up until '03 so you can't use the space the floor argument. Also, with Shaq as the 1st option in the triangle, Kobe's attack was more pick n roll base while also being the primary facilitator. Thats right up young Bron's alley.

If lebron was on the lakers from 99-04 they win 4-6 titles minimum he knows his role and wouldn't of ruined a championship team.Plus when shaq started declining lebron woulda been peaking and sustained their success

Shaq still wouldn't have been able to guard the pick and roll tho which was a major reason the Lakers dynasty fell off.
