It would seem that a lot of what we use to keep skaters off sidewalks would help here. Higher shoulders, landscaping that acts as a barrier as well as other barriers. Over street crossing. For very busy pedestrian areas.

The problem you have here is that you're attempting to conflate a car that has the primary purpose of driving with a gun that has the primary purpose of killing and/or maiming.

Nothing can prevent someone from doing something crazy and/or dangerous. But I'll take any reasonable, rational measure to mitigate it. Such as raised curbs.

- teach your children the value of ethics at an early age.
- teach them the value of consequences at an early age.
