Not sure where he implied AfrAms are "runners". Guess I missed that.

Nobody fled anywhere. Living comfortably in the motherland enjoying not being forced to be in a perpetual state of psychological victimhood. :ehh:

It's pretty clear this dumbass thinks we must be from one of them islands. Thus we must be runners like him and his peoplem.

If Nigeria was as a great country people would not be fleeing to Europe, Canada and the US. They are definitely victims. Some can afford to leave while other happily live in squalor?

There are places inhabited by AfrAms in America that are worse than many cities in Nigeria, and not just from an infrastructure level, but crime and otherwise as well.

People flee for economic prospects. The country is resource rich, but public policy poor. By and large, it can afford you a great quality of life if you can find a way to navigate societal hurdles that often arise from poor mismanagement :yeshrug:

I think there are also misconceptions of Africa from a media perspective. I think if you follow posts of brehs who have flown out to the continent, they usually are very positive about their African experience. The guys who are more critical are people who live, have lived or whose parents are from there. That's natural. If you were genuine, you would have a lot to say about the condition of black folk in America, which has effectively been one of subjugation.

Myself and many others have effectively set up roots on the continent, because at the end of the day, the quality of life is much better (at least for me), and it feels good to live amongst your people. And I'm saying this not as a Nigerian, but as a black man. I feel hella comfortbale EVERYWHERE on the continent.

If you really look at economic indicators as well, Africa is destined to rise. We just need good governance and not people who kowtow to Western powers to speed up this process.:yeshrug:
