If Kirk and barger didn’t hit their home runs with runners on bases earlier in the bottom of the 6th, shohei ohtani two run Homer in the top of the 7th would have cut the jays three run lead 5-2 to a one run lead, 5-4 . It would have been a one-run game with Toronto Still leading 5-4.
Instead of being a meaningless homerun hit after the outcome of the game had been already decided, it would have been a clutch two run homerun shot to bring them back within one run from Toronto.

Good thing my jays didnt waste this opportunity, they didn’t leave runners in scoring position stranded on bases and opened the floodgates big time instead. Clutch shyt. They seized the moment and took advantage of this opportunity to take a 1-0 series lead in the World Series.

Looking back, Freddie Freeman base running possibly cost more runs.

Ohtani with bases loaded cost. Game wasn't as bad as it looked. Blake just couldn't licate. Probably shoulda started Ohtani game 1

It's sports breh you can't play what if scenarios. Dodgers left runners in scoring positions multiple times in the earlier innings. When the jays are hitting they can really rally up the score. This is how they play and have played all season its the reason they are in the WS. My thing is I felt Dave Roberts left Snell in for too long when he didn't have it. Then he played pitchers that absolutely were bound to get lit up because the Dodgers lost all momentum.
