Wizards: i dont think they’re too far off
- def need a new coach badly :scust:
- gortat imo is a bench player. And shouldnt be starting. If they could get someone like julius randle for a decent price and have morris as the center. You’ll have a lot more versatility in the offense
- and if u can get somone like avery bradley. The bench would be much stronger with him oubre, and gortat out there.

we're all capped out as well
maybe a 3 way trade

lowry/derozan going to portland lillard/mccollum to washington
wall/beal to toronto

then if it doesnt work nxt year

lowry derozan to washington
lillard mccollum to toronto
and wall/beal to portland

Wall and Beal are trash but your scenario puts them in Toronto??

Keep dreaming punk

Eat these inevitable 1st - 2nd round exits for the next 2-3 years

Raptors in the luxury tax and traded their 1st nobody wants those flabby contracts unless they take a bad contract in return they'll most likely fire casey but it won't matter

Wizards in the luxury tax, portland got out of the luxury tax but have to re-sign jurkic so they'll be right back in it next season and they'll never go past the 2nd round none of these teams will

I don't Toronto or Portland underachieved. They've gone as far as they can with their talent

Wizards are the ones who I think should've have gone farther with their talent.

They should've had an ECF appearance by now. It's a mixture of bad coaching management and injuries

Wizards core still has potential, they just need better support players.

Wall is 27, Beal is 24, Otto is 24, Oubre is 22, Sato is 27. Beal, Otto, and Oubre are still years away from reaching their prime. Just gotta find young, athletic and cheap talent to fill out the roster.
That is just not feasible. Ernie Grunfeld can't put together a competitive squad. Anything resembling logic or reasoning with Grunfeld is delusion. In his 15 seasons he's never put out a team that had reasonable expectations of ECF. And I don't think the owner cares about winning either. Just butts in seats.

The best way forward is to totally overhaul the bench.

A rebuild is a mistake as we hasn't proven he can build a title contender, the owner has proven himself to be impatient after 4 rebuilding seasons

Portland has excuse of playing in the West. Unfortunately Wiz and Raptors both need to blow it up. Cant even beat a one man team :mjlol:

Yeah I think if Portland was in the East, they could probably make a Finals run.

Pelicans, to.....Especially this year.Toronto lacks heart....Sixers not ready.

Celtics are a rag tag gang playing over their heads right now.

Bron and the Cavs would be the only serious challenge. Not sure the Blazers would get them,Could go either way.

I'd take the Pelicans right now over the Cavs, tho

Depends on their ownership, not many teams can say they have been the #1 seed..etc. it’s just that they stink in playoffs. If you are cool being a regular season team no need to break em up and rebuild
