They had some good matches in previous Takeovers with Paige, Emma, Sasha, Becky, etc.. but the FIRST time I heard nikkas say "you need to watch this women's match" was the first Takeover Brooklyn with Sasha and Bayley.

So I would give credit to Sasha and Bayley.

Emma vs Paige was the reason they trusted Sasha vs Bayley. Emma vs Paige was the first "WOW, look at these women" talks, which then led up to the Sasha vs Bayley build, where people EXPECTED a great womens match.

I feel for u if Nikki Bella is highly rated in history. Most of those names are not even real stars.

They are STILL using this "BLANK started the revolution" nonsense?

Jesus fukk.

Edit : Oh and, wasn't it Nikki that was running around burying womens wrestling talking about how people don't pay to see the girls like they do the men?

Was that in character?

If I remember correctly female wrestling fans didn't even want Total Divas on the air because of what it meant for women's wrestling.

Doesn't the women's revolution generally refer to women being booked more as serious competitors though? Total Divas had zero to do with that

This breh I use to work with, his wife use to watch Total Divas and she had literally no interest in Wrestling and she loves the show and still has no interesting in wrestling. :pachaha:

Any reality show where women are the main focus of the show, women will watch.
Anyone who tries to deny Total Divas bringing in female fans is delusional
My cousin was watching total divas in prison

Yep.
"Let me put it this way: if a Diva was to headline a show, would those seats sell out like it does when John Cena's headlining? Roman Reigns? Brock Lesnar? Absolutely not. We're not there yet. We're trying to get there, but we're not there yet. As far as merch goes, we all get the same percentage, so I don't know why anyone's crying about it. We all make the exact same percentage, so it's like, sell more merch if you wanna be like the guys. At the end of the day, we're in a man's world. People show up to watch men wrestle, and they look at us the 'pretty things on the side', but I think slowly, we're changing people's minds about that. It's not gonna happen overnight, but eventually we're gonna get there. We just need patience and time."
