They set battle rap back with this event...the battle rappers just need to get together and mock this event to save face for the scene,join together on a track called "fukk Shady Records as a Staff".....maybe it can get better but they not really needed,if they doin it for the culture like they been swearing was the case all they need to do is open up they checkbook and sponsor this shyt and pay these battle rap nikkas some bread and let the people who already run these events run em....and just make em wear Shady Unlimited Tshirts and durags at the battles...they money is needed,not they ideas to "move the culture forward"

I cant even say that he sucked lyrically too,them was Canibesque bars my nikka,and im talkin about Canibus who pulled out the notepad on em...matter of fact Canibus did better imo....him pulling out the pad was just more embarrassing then Budden putting the mic down is the only difference here....but Joe was talkin shyt about Canibus but Canibus did BETTER

I think the key rappers need to learn is don't try to rap like these nikkas,pretend like you rappin over a beat if that's what you gotta do....Budden coulda spit one of his rhymes like he do at the BET Cyphers and won this shyt but he was be one of them nikkas and failed horribly at it....this is the worst BUdden has ever spit in his life bruh....he cant even say he barred Hollow to death like I at least expected.

They won't hear you though. True Buddens fans can't be impressed by this as they know he can spit better. I could only imagine casuals fans being impressed by this performance but if this was my first time hearing him and he choked and stalled this bad I would give it to Hollow just off that.

Every person who rapped in this event besides Mook should be embarrassed. When the lights came on you can see that most of them buckled under the pressure. Joe and Hollow spoke in all of their interviews leading up to the event that they were doing this for the culture. Well they embarrassed the culture tonight. From Hollow screaming stop the clock just to call Joe a bytch for allegedly hitting Tahiry to Joe constantly yelling stop the clock for no reason, the main event was horrible. Lux loss and loss badly. Daylyt was doing his normal gimmicky, wack, and corny shyt. If anything, this proves that real battling with beats should be moved to the forefront. Kill this acapella nonsense because it's weak and it's easy for these rappers to cover up their mistakes because they can stop or yell "chill chill" to the crowd so that they can regroup. The event exposed this acapella battling bullshyt for how wack and lame it really is. Battle rap to a beat!
