About how much cheaper would they be? Right now they around 20 to 22k according to cargurus.com. I like the GS model too but they are quite a bit more expensive.
I mean the ES still running a little high also.
Maybe get the previous generation GS? 2010/2011

fukk a car get you a light duty truck i.e. F-150, Ram 1500 or Silverado. They hold their value way better than cars do (article) and you have more available interior space and storage volume.

I live in the city breh :heh:

I don't know if I want to go with a previous Gen GS....I could probably bump my budget to 25k at the most.

I guess my Ultimate question is...for example....the Lexus GS 2014/2015 are around 28k currently.

Would year end sales typically bring that price down a few thousand or will the price stay there?

The year end sales mainly apply to new cars and used (1 year old cars) on the dealership lot. Not 3-4 year old cars breh. Their price will naturally go down as time passes by though.

What’s the point of having a pickup if you live in a urban area or don’t work in construction?

I'm not sure I understand...living in an urban area has nothing to do with driving a pickup.

I could see if your living in the city and your are dwelling in an apartment where you dont own any if the appliances.

I guess I was looking at it through my own lense. I live in the city yet I have a family(of four) and live in a house.

Having the utility of a truck and the interior volume and storage are all positives for me. Also, driving in congested city traffic has advantages from the viewpoint of a truck.

To each its own...:hubie:

Camry or Avalon will get you right, check craigslist and kbb/edmunds/cars.com for some pricing negotiation tips.

Once you pick a car try to join a forum like toyotanation they have some great threads on maintainance, pricing, accessories, etc. (Keep it strictly cars though some :mjpls: vibes in the "other" sections)

Lexus seems like it would be pricier to maintain :yeshrug:
Hears those Acuras keep you in the shop; seems like they finally turning the company around :ehh:
lexus is on the list of the cheapest cars to maintain bro.
