How’s the food there?

I don’t even know one South African dish...

Not many "SA" spots from what I saw (I'm talking straight Zulu or Khoisa cuisine). Me and my girl went to an African Fusion spot that had food from All Over Africa and the main SA dishes were Cape Malay food.

Theres a good "hood spot called Mzoli where you pick out meats and they cook it for you in Cape Town

Also hit up this dope Seafood spot in Camps Bay where you pick out the seafood you want and they grill it

COPPED TWO 1 LITER BOTTLE 6 PACKS OF ICE COLD WATER,
8 APPLES, 8 ORANGES, & 14 BANNANAS FOR 12 BUCKS.

HAD CROC, IMPALA, KUDU, SPRINGBOK, OXTAIL, LAMB SHANK, CALAMARI
AND A BUNCH OF SEA FOOD THAT ISNT PICTURED.

CAPE TOWN IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IVE EVER BEEN.
EATING ON THE OCEAN FRONT EVERY NIGHT.

IM GONNA LOOK INTO MOVING TO SOUTH AFRICA.
CLOSEST THING TO A BLACK UTOPIA IVE SEEN.

Did you ever hit Joburg? I hear Cape Town is crazy beautiful but Joburg has that "bustle". I have a trip planned within the next 2.5 months.

Jo Burg is Like a US Major City (big busy and dirty lol), and I wanted to be somewhere more scenic. Also Jo Burg is where the wolves are so just an FYI that you just be humble and keep your head on swivel.

My boy was in Dakar and he told it was amazing.

I'm so hyped for this my upcoming trip.

Of Course. Them folks grinding though. When I was in one of the townships a breh showed us that they started their own bus service that owned by the people that they use to get back and forth between the townships and Cape Town

Bruuuhhhh, this what everyone has been telling me. I've heard Jo'Burgs crime rate is absolutley maddening.

Put this in perspective, I'm from Nigeria and from what I've read people are saying South Africa blows Nigeria out of the water in violent crime. The country is up there with El Salvador, Brazil and Venezuela.

I'm not shook but I'm just curious as to why the crime is soooooo bad. I mean Nigeria has mad inequality as well but we don't really get violent crime like that.
