Toure clears up some misconceptions in the Diddy Doc. They're calling him a liar in the comments.... It was his interview.

Mind you it was his own interview they used, imagine people calling you a Liar on some shyt you created. Diddy definitely is monster but it seems that all rationale has been lost
:wow:

That's crazy.

I thought you at first with criticizing You're untill I saw the clip. (Partially cause I just woke up after a tough work shift )

Like why would he have to defend an interview he did.

But the creation/controlling of narratives is pure fukkery and manipulation in "journalism"

Daps for You're interviewing him during his first album and capturing Biggie in an actually very vulnerable and real moment expressing his fear.

I haven't seen this Puffy doc - what I do know was that it was created FAST! Which is terrible.

What is Coli's consensus on it now?

There's no misconception. That interview was shown all the time back then. We all know when it was from. Yeah, they positioned it weirdly in the doc but that doesn't change my opinion on the overall content of the doc at all.

People grasping for straws to defend Diddy :mjlol:

Toure has Tik Toks calling the jurors out and reiterating what lil rod said, which is the exact opposite of defending Diddy. Again all rationale has been lost in this situation and not even worth trying to have nuanced convo.

This is how Netflix, 50 Cent, and that director will get sued. Calling it a documentary implies it is fact but when you purposefully mislead for a narrative then thats libel.

You're clearly mixing up two things

1. Defending Diddy (nobody in their right mind defends anyone who does what we saw on that hallway video)
2. Pointing out that the creators of the documentary also talked about things unrelated to Diddy's trial: like the East-West beef. Playing things out of order is basically just really bad and manipulative work from the director and executive producer (for doing it, and for ok'ing it)

Suge had been dealing with narratives that he killed Pac for 20 years,Puffy will be alright:mjlol:

My only issue is when people were putting out misinformation while the man was on trial. No need to give the system help in railroading a black man. Because they will use all the lies from social media to make it so no one will care if hes railroaded. If you are black, this is a bad thing. Because best believe that blueprint will be used in the future for people who may not be so guilty.

But the trial is over,so people can knock themselves out with Diddy slander really. It will be up to him to file lawsuits. 50 will get his karma
