U lie. If u didnt give a fukk u wouldnt be in literally every MCHG thread

I dont understand this "i dont care" stance. Everyone who posts in the booth cares. Hip hop and everything that comes from it- the music, the people, the stories, the public's perception of it- matter to us. nikkas need to stop fronting
1. What? Has the Grammy's, BET awards and MTV awards already been?

I've never given props to any of my favorite rappers for having the most Grammy's, BETs etc. I'm not the one crying cause Life Is Good lost against Take Care. I watch the shyt for entertainment.

2. What thread have I been in with reviews from people who don't fukk with hiphop? I think I entered one cause I wanted to read to motivation for why someone would call it bad. And I entered the pitchfork thread cause as I mentioned in the post I fukk with pitchfork, I just don't care about their hiphop reviews although I'll occasionally read them cause they are well written and somewhat entertaining.

The people who care about what Entertainment Weekly has to say are the ones using it in their argument for why the album is bad and at the same time shytting on all hiphop based media.

The publications I care about are the ones that are hiphop-heads.
Cause then I know "aight this is what hiphop fans are fukking with", the fukk would I wanna know what a "rock-head" thinks about a hiphop album? Or what The Source would have to say about an Arcade Fire album?

You might care breh, I don't.

my main gripe with this album is it just sounds cheap.... like seriously, there is NOTHING ground breaking about the production, it definitely sounds forced at certain times, lyrically its not really that thrilling either, the best song is pretty much somewhere in america but honestly jay-z comes off a little too old and too successful to be rappin about half the shyt he rappin about "i'll come through shootin like sambo and wont scratch the lambo"

I dont get in what world BP3>MCHG.

Its not his best, but I think its honestly his best since AG.

I saw on here where some thought the first song was about an actual female :comeon:

So its not hard to argue that SOME could be losing the references/metaphors on the album (its not incredibly deep but it does have some references/allusions/metaphors that i personally didnt get in the first sitting, giving the album replay value IMO.)

I coulda done with out versus, part 2, roc la familia and tom ford.

This album has the standard hov formula (balling, obscure shyt that most ppl wont get, mixed with personal thoughts/feelings) and great production.

Another thing I could agree on is that the album is not tight/cleaned up enough (it feels rushed in certain parts.) but to say its trash, or his worst i think is a stretch. That is def bp3.

-DMP-

Best album since AG? Son he has only had 2 albums since AG. It's not really difficult to be the best album out of two, especially when the other album is BP3.

SOHH ICEY N.O.
everybody i know offline fukks wit it, and holy grail is a classic track

holy grail - 5/5
picasso - 4.5/5
tom ford - 3/5
fwmukig - 4/5
oceans(top 2 song on the album) - 5/5
somewhere in america -4.5/5(makes me laugh at the miley reference everytime)
crown - 3.5
heaven - 4/5
verses - 2/5
part II - 4(i could did with all hov verses tho, bey killed this song)
beach is better -5/5(wish it was alot longer tho)
bbc - 1.5/5(dont know how a song wit all these legend turn into this trash)
blue - 3/5
la familia -4/5
nickles and dimes - 5/5

all in all i think the rnb cats stole the show and killed this album, justin, frank and bey songs are 3 of the best

this album is good and as i listen it gets better, so its pushing great right now(no classic tho)

and on what planet is bp3 and kc on the same wavelength is mchg,

the hater love to revise history, back when kc dropped it was the worst album in hip hop history, when american gangster dropped it was average, when bp3 dropped it was the next worst thing in history, when wtt the drop it was worst than best of both worlds

now they revise history, kc was a good album, american gangsta is a classic, bp3 was a real cohesive album that was great, and wtt was a instant classic,

now the hater has a new album to hate into years later, the hater cant ever give props until the coast is clear and they can use that album to talk about how the new album aint as good as the last

:sadcam: jay getting further and further away from the hood. look at his fan base.

To be fair though, white hip hop heads aren't new but going forward it only makes sense that they would have jobs such as that. Could be interesting to see it happen.

What osbcure shyt that jay spits? Euro brands are osbcure now? Go look at GQ British and you decipher all of what jay raps about. nikkas getting mystified over some clothing brands and expensive cars.

I'm familiar with the brands he mentions. But nikkas ain't getting mystified. If the general public doesn't know about it, its considered obscure.
