Born and raised in San Diego. Vegas is a 5 hour drive so I been there a whole lotta times from a child to adulthood. Vegas was unreal from mid-80s to the late 2000s. For me, All Star Weekend was the last time Vegas was VEGAS. All Star Weekend…damn :wow:

Boomers and generation x who stayed in casino’s burning money from tables to sports events are gone as well as mafia/gangs who used to do dirt there is gone

New technology has came in and also Vegas has become literally low budget motherfukkers destination now

Miami might be feeling the pain next
Spring break was dead, lol they been feeling the pain over there but that was because they WANT ppl to gtfo

One thing I'll say is that if you're a high level gambler, Vegas is a COMPLETELY different experience.

I'm seven stars at caesars and platinum at MGM.

I don't pay resort fees, I don't pay for parking at any Ceasars or MGM casinos.

Caesars gives me for free cocktails a day, I get a 5 day annual retreat, free rooms on command, a 7 day cruise, $150 bucks in free sports bets every month online and tie bonuses for all types of shyt. I was getting 1200 free airfare credits, free play on any cash advance fees.

MGM was giving me $600 free airfare credits, 4 free nights with $400 resort credits....all types of shyt all all their casinos.

I've bet millions with Caesars and MGM over the years.

I don't even wait in lines at MGM restaurants.
So basically you only getting a good experience if you willing to spend a million bucks
