Why do you guys care about how Caribbean Americans/Jamaicans/UK "Blacks" feel? Just laugh about what they're experiencing. They're not Black.


From the responses in here one would think some of you are experiencing shame and embarrassment. Not a good look.

No one wants to laugh at anyone experience a hurricane BUT we have to check people that uses this to spread hatred about our people. We should have been checking this stuff to be honest.

I disagree that's exactly what this thread is about. Whatever perceived "hate" that exists in this situation doesn't outweigh these communities and their history being wiped off the map and it's weird to create an entire victim narrative when it's unnecessary.

These Tethers like Amanda Seales are posting more videos shytting on Black Americans than actually talking about the devastation in Jamaica.

Number 1. Jamaicans and Caribbean’s used this shyt to fuel their already hate toward black Americans. But check it. Everybody is fukked up here. They shouldn’t have booked during hurricane season. And Jamaica shouldn’t have been BOOKING during hurricane season. Also. They are being told they can’t leave but still are being charged upwards of $200 bucks nightly for their rooms. Number 2. The women complaining aren’t even black American. They are CARIBBEAN AMERICAN. There has also been UK black people and other people from all over the world who have been making videos complaining as well. Amanda Seales made a video and I was bout to light her shyt up too but she limited her comment section. There was people in her comments saying that there was plenty of black American tourist helping the hotel workers n everything and Amanda Seales responded and said “don’t tell me what to post..”. Because if it doesn’t get clicks muthafukkas don’t care. And that’s the problems. Caribbeans, Africans etc etc come here and blend in and acclimate to our customs, accent and language and whenever they act up they get lumped in with us and WE take the heat for the shyt. I’m tired of it. And I have love for everyone. But I’m dead tired of the shyt I grew up in BK around nothing but caribbeans my whole life. Got called a yankee and all kinda shyt just for being black American so I know the deal and how they be feeling.

reminds me of several years ago with the whole Fufu challenge on YouTube
they had a bunch of people eat Fufu with other West African foods - and the gist of the story was all different types of people took part in the challenge and the perception was the ONLY people who didn’t like it … were black Americans and it was several videos of people calling it disgusting and spitting it out etc. etc.

Thereafter, a whole bunch of West African content creators, criticize black Americans for disrespecting their maim dish … however days may be a week later someone cleverly went back and evaluated every so-called black American who had something negative to say and what was found out was an over well majority of them were not ADOS/FBA = Damn near all of them were first or second generation, Caribbean or African … as a matter of fact the most talk about , was this dude on his girlfriend‘s YouTube channel, who was completely disrespectful and did the most - only to find out that his parents were from Kenya

This whole thing shows why, folks are easily bamboozled by the rich. While black people are at each other's throats, trying to police and criticize each other's behavior.
Those hotels were still charging their guests full price for reduced service, which is why some were pissed.
Food just doesn't run out cause a hurricane hit. Hotels have big pantries with days worth of food. It's the shoulder season, they could bring in staff that's off or even hire local vendors.

This got so ridiculous, you got folks cleaning up at hotels they paid to stay at and owned by billionaires instead of paying locals (who need it more) to do it.
