The nostalgic thread they always pop up once in a while and just make me want to cry.

shyt was so much better back then IU swear and prices are never coming down because people won't stop fukking shopping.

Everything was in a abundance I swear earlier I was shopping the Ken doll costed 24.99 fukking Ken get the fukk outtsa here.

I feel like children’s merchandising had hit a strong stride around that time. Especially when it came to selling a toy that was connected to a new IP like say how star wars toys became a big economic engine for the IP in addition to the movies just being very popular. Or like how Batman did with the first Tim Burton rendition. Those two both happened at the beginning and the end of the 80s

Was just at one buying some gifts. Prices have gone crazy but funny enough my son still likes how wheels so I got some as stocking stuffers. Still $1-2 Canadian. That’s not bad.

Imflarion is a bytch though. Think about what governments have done to drive prices hisgher.
