By all means please excuse me on the following. I'm not very intellectual when it comes to these kind of political things.

So like, what do we do from here? Is everyone totally fukked now? It seems to me like they've given the corporate scum free reign to do whatever bullshyt they want. Suppose a person wanted to just travel for the next decade or so. How would this affect them? How would this affect everyone exactly?

Very frustrating how one group of individuals are allowed to get away with and fukk everything up, including other's lives whom are just trying to live....

TPP ain't ALL bad.

We need to remember that trade deals have significant geopolitical leverage.

America needs to maintain its leverage in the Pacific Rim

It's not officially in place. Congress is supposed to do an up or down vote, once BHO and trade representatives finish the negotiations. That should be interesting.

Up or down vote means Congress can not change/amend anything in the "Treaty", only vote yes or no. However, if approved by Congress the Corporate Board that is created can change the "Treaty" as they see fit. :laff:

It's a Dark Comedy. :francis:

what are you doing now that you can't do after the passage of TPP?
Not sure, that's why I'm asking. Basically i dont want my future aspirations to be ruined by placement in fema camps, or any other oppressive shyt like that..

What cost is it to the people though?

I'm really curious what a lot of professional organizations have to say about this. Lawyers, accountants, city managers, professors, etc ..........

I don't think this is looney toon if the public has no say on any new "ruling" an unelected board says is gospel. You really have step back ask yourself, what is this exactly :patrice:

I guess the public should biitch and moan to their elected officials now, b/se once implemented their Congressmen will be literal puppets and have no say or power to influence anything opposing a Corporate Board "ruling", according to how this is being conveyed.

Everything I'm typing is just conjecture really. Again, nobody really knows what is in the "Treaty", and will not know what is in it until it is approved....at least we assume that ...they may decide to not even reveal what's in it ... :dead: it's madness, crazy ...

People WILL be hurt by this. The goal is to limit the damage. People always lose out, but you have to remember that the USA is competing with other nations for business and jobs and we can't just sit by and let people pass us up in ANY fashion. This is why I talk about American "supremacy" in some regards when it comes to economic leverage.

People wanna be all "we are the world" but when shyt gets real, we're trying to get the same benefits everyone else is in this world.

It's funny how adverse "progressives" are to change.
