The only two albums up there that I f*ck with are The Grandmasters and Heist of the Century.

La The Darkman quietly dropped a classic-worthy project that most people chose to sleep on back then. But it was mad dope. Dude had a lot of underground work that kinda flew under the radar, but was high quality.

.... easily the Darkman tape. .. . . Grandmasters was cool at the time in 05 .. . but it kind of felt like DJ Muggs was doin a tribute to RZA on the boards . .. . the La joint in real-time was heavily slept on . .. 4th Disciple was at his peak following his work on Heavy Mental and Silent Weapons . .. .

Beneath The Surface by GZA and I’ll add Legend Of The Liquid Sword since it’s not on there…..

People slept on those GZA albums. I’d rather hear him behind the beats than RZA.

GZA may be the only Wu member that u never hear in any trouble.

Genius and Masta Killa are just mad chill.

I used to see GZA in Washington Square Park all the time playing chess with mad old dudes, lol. He always just seemed like the most laidback dude ever. He's also like 60 now.

Of those pictured, Darkman's album was easily the best. La was hungry, him & Supreme got amazing production from Six, RZA, 4th, Muggs & Havoc. Plus Ty & La being so independent with it had it slept on that it never got the push that other Wu releases of the time, despite those full page magazine ads w/ the Wu mask.

The rest either hit big enough to not consider them slept on or had enough issues they deserved their respective naps.
