These ppl are fukkkng idiots!

Went to catholic school my entire life; carried me from K to the age of 18 and it was a great experience for the most part. Even after 14yrs in that environment I still would never convert to Catholicism. Lol

How is that your faith by birth or choice and you don’t know how it works?!

they're not much different from the majority of religious adherents.

I've learned that people use Christianity to hide their real cults and religions underneath it. The Dominiant view of white Christianity has Germanic Viking shyt and Greek shyt leaking out for example. They de-emphasized the ascetic principles and de-emphasized marginalized people using mutual aid. Catholics killed some of those sects off and called other schools heretics. Waldensian still do those things like preach social justice and some American Reformers helped free us and then we used to have a huge Mutual Aid culture in our own Black Tradition(still there but struggling) but over all the dominant view is them using it to justify undercover viking raids (The Crusades, Klan and Mob raids into Black towns, Modern day Warhawking).

Monotheist religions all do this. They all more/less adapted and incorporated some elements of previous local cults and religions. All empires work that way, otherwise they don't stand the test of time. And they obviously all pick and choose what they decide to enforce from their respective books and teachings.

To keep it simple, not trying to complicate this

But essentially how can the word of a man in a small piece of territory in the middle of Rome be enforced in America? You mentioned barring him entry, taking assets etc.

Separation of Church and State can mean a lot of things in the US but it's especially meant for legal matters. In essence, Federal and State law has to defer to the governing laws of a Church when it comes to church matters. They cannot override them unless the public is involved (i.e sex abuse, etc.)

So if the canons of the Catholic Church say that all real and intellectual property, assets, and real estate held by the Church is owned by the Papal Seat, State and Federal law could not override that, and so the Vatican would not only have the legal right as the legal owners, but the courts would have to rule in its favor if a legal issue came out of it.

It wouldn't get that far though. There are probably four or five other Bishops in Texas along with the one in the OP, and they all answer to an Archbishop. The Archbishop, who has authority over this Bishop, would just step in on behalf of the Pope to have him physically barred/removed if it got to that point.

The separation of Church and State goes deep. I grew up in the Episcopal Church which is the oldest church in the US. The Canons of the Episcopal Church are older than the US Constitution. This is not known to the general public but because 1) we have separation of Church and State and 2) because the Canons are legal documents older than the US Constitution, in instances where the Church may violate federal law, there is a quiet acceptance among the courts that the Canons take precedence over the US Constitution. And there have been one or two instances where I heard this actually happened (can't remember the circumstances, gonna look it up). It is the only document in the US, and I think there may be one more, that quietly has this privilege but it's not really spoken about and only comes up if there are legal matters within the Episcopal Church of a federal nature.

American "Christians" aren't actually Christians. Christianity to them is a social club that gives them the "right" to look down on others.

You can't call yourself a Christian then fight legislation designed to feed children. You can't call yourself a Christian and support any sort of war unless it's a defensive one and even then you still want the fighting to stop asap. You can't call yourself a Christian and then oppose anything that let's black people get on an equal footing. You can't call yourself a Christian and then oppose the teaching of history because you're afraid that your children will feel bad and *gasp* want to make up for what their ancestors did.

Politics. Strickland is extremely conservative and vocal about things like anti LGBT, anti abortion, and pro Trump views. He's been very outspoken about his opposition to Pope Francis' progressive reforms.
Do you happen to know if there are enough Catholics upset about the progressive reforms for a schism to occur and the hardliners to split off?

I don't know, but I doubt it. Taking down the Bishop is a big deal though, and will likely be seen as a direct shot at the hardcore traditionalists. I'm here for the fukkery

Call the pope a heretic and expect to keep your title, cathbrehs.
It's that entitlement that privileged whites in America have. They're genuinely shocked when someone outside of their own bubble demonstrates power. Worse, power over THEM. They have to unpack what they're witnessing and experiencing because they're so used to being catered to that anyone bringing them back down to reality feels like a violation and a great injustice.
