No it's not. It was a single trip to a Gamestop a trip to the Best Buy around the corner same day and a trip back there later in the week. I go to Best Buy every weekend anyway as it is. It wasn't to save money it was to turn a refurbished Xbox One into a brand new one for money I was already gonna spend.

I had 2 copies of GTA V and 2 of Metal Gear Solid V. Those PS4 copies I traded in were still sealed before I traded them. The Call of Duty I got launch day and played a single time then never touched again.

That's interesting, I've never seen eBay gift cards at any of the gamestops out here.

I went on eBay and bought $250 in Best Buy Gift Cards with the eBay one.

I went to Best Buy and traded in Call of Duty AW, GTA V, and Metal Gear Solid V and got somewhere around $97 for them due to the 50% bonus on games this week.

I took that $350 and bought the $399 Tomb Raider 1TB Xbox One bundle it came with a $50 gift card. On Friday I'll take the console back and have then re-ring it up and get a free game. I plan to trade the free game back in and I should have almost $100 in Best Buy Gift Cards again. I'll use that to buy a couple games I was gonna buy anyway.

so for maybe $150 out of pocket after taxes I should have:
A new 1TB Xbox One
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Fallout 4
Xenoblade X

Those 3 games I was gonna buy anyway and would have cost me $150 so basically I'll get a free new Xbox One for my troubles not counting the games I traded in.

It wasn't to save $100. It was to turn a used second room 500GB Xbox One that was a Microsoft refurbished console into a 1TB brand new Xbox One with Rise of the Tomb Raider for money I was already gonna spend on other games anyway.

I already had both a black and a white Xbox One before the trade ins. It's not like I was really getting something I didn't have. I don't game that much anymore. I've had at least one Xbox One since launch and honestly the only game I fully played on it in that span is Batman Arkham Knight back in August of this year. If something was wrong with that second Xbox One I probably wouldn't notice for 6 months or more. it's warranty ended in Feb.

just copped it. went today to pre-order, sales associate was like pre-order? bro, we have it right now! had me all ................ girl went in the back to grab the console (nick thick white booty ) and breh was like, aight man what game you want? took me a solid minute to ponder ..... and then i realized and did the mafth got a pc? check. got a ps4? check. got a wii u? check. any multi-platform title id rather get on steam. if its console based only than id go ps4. which made me take a hard look at the xbone and say, its only good for exclusives. no choice but to get dat halo guardians . gamestop been doing it with these promos , but my god do their fukking workers take forever to ring up shyt. trynna ask me if i want to additional shyt or interested in other promos and do small talk. thick girl came out with my console and bagged everything up and gave it to me. walked out and gave her the before saying thank you.

Bout to take this receipt back up to Best Buy tomorrow and get my free game and pay the extra $30 for the Spartan Locke controller. Then I gotta track down a Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10. Since I'm hearing the free game can be a PS4 game I might just keep it afterall.

I didn't want to get a xbone now. Hopefully when a smaller revision comes, they'll have this $250 trade in promo for it. This xbone I got today about to . Only getting exclusives for this console.
