According the Woj' @ Y!; you're right about Ray (his ego, not likin' the Big 4 talk, Rondo's shadow)The whole story of Ray and Rajon's deteriorating friendship looked liked it was all on Ray's part, I bet the whole leaking of this is him too. Ray was cool with Rondo until he got that contract and the term "Big 4" popped up more and more. Rondo stepped up huge when Ray was injured and now Ray's ego can't handle playing in Rondo's shadow instead of the other way around. Not to say Rondo is blameless in this but I doubt it warrants leaving the Celtics although the rivalry just got more interesting.
But, let's be real; we've been hearin' about Rondo's bad attitude for 3 straight seasons, now
I love what he does on court, but, imagine dealin' with him on a daily basis
He almost got dealt
Yeah, I wish Joe D had done that trade.
Rondo/Ray for Stuckey/Rip/Tay
At first I was like
, but, now I remember the DET trade rumor

If it was about business he'd go to a team that offered him the most money. That homotional fakkit wanted to make it personal.

punk shyt? man this is a business. You think these owners & GMs make decisions based on sentiment?? I think that's what some of you folks overlook sometimes. Yall so caught up with the fandom aspect of it all... talking about rivalries, loyalty & such. all that shyt is irrelevant to most players. Red Sox players end up playing for the Yanks & vice versa. Barcelona players have played for Real Madrid. The Big Tuna coached the Cowboys years after coaching the Giants. Deion went to Cowboys a year after winning a ring & having what most would consider his best year with their rival 49ers. Paul Pierce grew up a Laker fan. Deron Williams turned down an opportunity to play for the team he grew up rooting for. Yall put too much stock into this loyalty/rivalry mumbo jumbo. As a fan? cool... but for these players it's business
