In what appears to officially be a disappointing trend each Halloween, a number of retailers are once again coming under fire for a costume deemed offensive to the transgender community.

“Tranny Granny” is a Halloween costume by Rasta Imposta (and other manufacturers) that was until Tuesday morning sold on Walmart.com and is still currently available on Amazon through third party sellers. The costume includes hip and breast pads, a dress and headscarf.

Before Walmart.com pulled the costume, The Huffington Post was able to take the following screenshot:

The description for the costume reads:

All the guys will be dressing up as superheroes and princes, but you will stand out among the rest in this hilarious Granny Men’s Costume!

The costume includes a white tank dress with pink collar and colorful flowers all over as well as curvaceous butt and boob pads to complete the look.

This granny wouldn’t go anywhere without her pink babushka with flower design headband to keep her hair perfectly in place.

Slap on some makeup and get ready for your granny walk and you will have the room roaring with laughter!

“The costume was listed by a third party vendor and is in clear violation of our policy,” a representative for Walmart told The Huffington Post via phone on Tuesday. “It has been removed. We apologize that this seller put it on our site in the first place.”

Other retailers, including Amazon.com, are still stocking the costume:

Amazon did not immediately respond to The Huffington Post’s request for comment.

Culturally insensitive costumes ― and people coming to their defense ― are an unfortunate part of the Halloween season each year. “Tranny Granny” was a source of contention last year as well and is still being stocked by Spirit Halloween as of October 4. Last year the highly transphobic Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costumedrew outrage from consumers, but Spirit Halloween refused to pull the item. Most recently a Disney “Moana” costume caused outrage for appearing to promote “brownface.”

We all love Halloween and dressing up... but let’s try to do better for one another.
