I've thought about the same thing but on the other hand, a lot of this is on Trump simply being an a$$hole and idiot. He burns bridges with a quickness and something this intimate probably came from someone close who he has shifted on. He shyts on sessions, spicer, Reince, and moochie in private and public at times and dropped them like a bad habit.

For something like these transcripts to drop, it had to come from someone high up and there are people high up he has burned who probably hate this prick.

I read the whole transcript with the Mexican president and I hate say it, based on that conversation,particularly the part on trade, if democrats don't put someone up who is also for reworking trade deals, Trump will win reelection.

This is one point where Trump and Bernie agreed and are both right. Globalization has brought costs down of goods, but what does it matter if you don't have a job to buy them?

However the other part of that is corporate greed and unwillingness to pay the workers that exist their fair share for their labor. Trump has no solution to this problem while Bernie Sanders did.

The elite used globalization to break workers and union protection of worker right Global trade unleashed billions of previously untapped labor pools from China, India, Philippines, South America, etc, etc which North American and European labors simply cannot compete on a cost basis.
