lol @ people acting like it's alright for the movies to be poorly made crap because the original cartoon was crappy as well. With such lack of effort to improve things we'd still be stuck on corny 60's Batman and Robin scaling the side of a building and "Pow!" sound effects.

And don't give me that bullshyt about it's about giant robots fighting either. With that kind of logic LotR could be on some In The Name Of The King: Dungeon Siege crap instead of the sprawling epic we got because you know, it's just a movie about some warriors and orcs fighting.

Love to reminisce about the old days... By comparison Google gave me the first movie for free
And I never watch it

What they have put on film to me is unrecognizable to the piff I remember

It's like they made a Transformers movie with Go-Bots in all the lead roles

I've spent enough money on this disappointment ...I will not be watching Ninja Turtles or any other movie M.Bay does foe the rest of HIS life

I wouldn't say the cartoon was crappy, it had its moments.. the animated movie is dope as fukk. With that said, Michael Bay is probably the best guy to handle this series and I'm being real honest about that. Nobody would have given us the kind of action sequence piff that he has. Now with Bay.. you always have your problems. I felt the first movie was actually decent. The second movie had terrible racist jokes (a Bay staple) and more awful humor. Plus, it was hard to see what was going on a lot of times and the plot didn't really make any sense/the designs weren't great.

The third movie he cleaned up a lot of the previous mistakes. It was easier to see what was going on, he ditched the parents for the most part and he also ditched many of the idiotic subplots.

So for this one.. it's possible (not saying it will happen) that he will finally put it all together and we'll see a movie that is void of lame racist humor and it will simply be 2 hours of Decepticons and Autobots fukking shyt up which is all we want to see..

The problem with saying "of course the movies are kinda crappy and corny, so was the cartoon" is you're comparing a new movie franchise to a cartoon from 25 years ago. Why the fukk is the bar that low? Because it's the same source material? shyt makes zero sense.

Michael Bay is a great director but he has no eye for story or script. I'm not saying the shyt has to be "Godfather" status but damn near every Bay directed or related project has the same corny ass humor and cheesy feel to it. I just watched "Pain And Gain", with a few minor tweaks it could've been a great movie. Instead it has the same bullshyt humor in it.

I go in with no expectations. I've been a fan of transformers since birth. I got tattoos of faction symbols. I'm just happy to see live action autobots and deceptions, something I never thought was possible. I love the old cartoon.

here go a couple for me:

- a better plot/story: the story has been horrible so far...and no, i'm not saying it has to be like the cartoon, but it could better than the bullshyt he's given us...

- less human involvement: the series should be about autobots and decepticons...so far, even though it's called transformers, the transformers have played the background to the humans...I mean, what we've learned so far from the series is that when fighting the decepts, the autobots aren't needed when you have the US military, a secret gov dept, and a smartass kid with a good looking girlfriend....

- for him to stick more to the source material: there are plenty of transformers out there, no need to make up some like the fallen or the dumbass race baiting twins....also, there is plenty of material for him to see how each transformer acts/the personality...optimus wasn't a cold hearted killer of decepts; devastator wasn't a giant vacuum cleaner; megatron wasn't a bytch.....

- the whole can switch to a new form cause the other one gets jokes cracked on it, gotta go...even though the new bumble looks hot, I still haven't gotten over him just switching cars in the first 1...

- a better plot/story and less human involvement...mentioning it again cause that's the main thing he needs to change...
