Is it really possible for transgender females to fight other females? I know doctors give them pills to be more female like, but surely their genetic make up can't meet the requirements needed to be on a true even playing field with females?

It depends on when they started taking the treatments and for how long they've been taking them before the fight. According to the International Olympic Committee, transgender athletes can compete in the divisions of the sex they identify with if they have been on hormone treatments for at least 3 or 4 years, which radically changes their physiology, lowering their bone density and all that other stuff to within the average range for born women. But I think how early in life you start the treatments probably has some effect on how much your physiology can be changed as well.
