Yall come here and fit into the fabric like everybody else. Not to mention most of yall dont even move to the city anyway, yall be out in Alpharetta, Roswell and Gwinnett County. The only NY cats you ever see in the city are usually at the AUC, and those cats rarely venture off campus.

Only people coming into the CITY and taking jobs are hipster white people and maybe some Indians. Yall NY nikkas are a non-factor in the A, yall here but yall just another face in the crowd. He dont know what he talking about. Atlanta one of the most nepotistic cities in the country, shyt you cant even get a job with the city govt. unless you went to the right college or even the right high school sometimes. There is no "NY network" when it comes to jobs in the city. Only network there is the Morehouse-Spelman network and then the Doug /Mays/Westlake High SW Atlanta network.

Generally transplants are move valuable then the locals cause they bring something to the table or are here to work. Not in every case though.

That's exactly what I thought that's why I asked about nepotism. Atlanta to me seems like a place with an established society of successful individuals and you ain't just rising to the top on your own

I don't mind transplants. Most people I work with didn't grow up in NYC, but that's just the corporate world. I just don't like it when transplants think they know about about a local about their own city. No matter how many restaurants they know, how many bars they been to, different neighborhoods they explored, it will never replace growing up local.
wouldn't say more "valuable" but normally you are correct as far as post secondary education (advanced degree or degree from a good school or some skilled tradecraft(hvac/master plumbing elec etc)
Don't mind most of them here in Detroit.
