Hip hop should be like a buffet catering to a vast array of different styles and experiences throughout black culture of America. Trap music is but one of those dishes served in the hip hop buffet and is a welcome balance to other forms and styles of hip hop. I co-sign this thread.

I don't like that Trap Music that much, but I can't deny how spot on this post is.

i like trap tho. its waaaaay ahead of the rest of rap in terms of beats lyrically most trap rappers are but there's been ignant shyt in every generation. as long as the beats bang me and my car speakers got nothing but love

Trap music is a necessary entity in Hip Hop....

You can't sit and listen to Bob Dylan all fukking day.... Sometimes you need a little Slayer, Metallica, Danzig,etc...

Same with my hip Hop... Sometimes I need some fukking Chief Keef and Gucci to go along with NaS/Lupe/Kendrick....
