only thing i dont like is the fact that Banks doesn't shoot videos for any of his mixtape songs. he would be way bigger just by doin that in my opinion. He actually shot a few videos off Halloween Havoc mixtape or one of his first mixtapes off that 5 and better series i think. And they were directed by 50 Cent ironically. But that was it, not one video after that to support his mixtapes.

Hmmm I don't know why he doesn't shoot videos.

Adding visuals to your music makes a huge difference. It's easier to spread it around on different sites and get the word out, more specifically, YouTube. Humans respond more to visuals.

You do not need a vid, nowadays.
You are better off trying to pitch your song to a marketing agency.
Vids have no bearing on your draw.
This not the early MTV years to the late nineties, after the box was absorbed.
MTV bought the box for a reason.
To control, how music created a draw in their monopoly with Viacom.
It completely worked.

Independent with no hustle to his self. nikkas out here shooting they own videos and putting them on the internet for next to nothing. That's no excuse. Other independent artists link up with unknown/lesser known producers and drop tracks and whole tapes.

So if he was serious he'd pawn some jewelry, put $50K together and drop a project.

The harsh reality is outside of the tri-state no one cares at the moment but he don't have the hustle to keep dropping shyt in order to force people to pay attention.

Yeah, Banks gotta get it how he live regardless...50 can't even get his own projects released at this point, what can he do for Banks even if they were on good terms? It's prolly tough for an act like Banks, prolly gotta live off of whatever struggle shows he can book in the tri-state and random rap-show deprived locales in the middle of nowhere that'll host him at some converted restaurant...but such is the game...and just a couple years removed from Banks trying to clown Nas for not selling more than his only platinum album

Word...it's cats like Kevin Gates out there dropping hella videos to "mixtape"/street album tracks, which bring more exposure to his movement...i think it's prolly a case where certain cats with that type of grind develop it out of necessity...Banks came up under 50 and was accustomed to being in the Interscope system during it's peak, he never had that type of drive...like if he didn't just so happen to be 50's lil homie, it's unlikely banks would have taken the initiative to make it as a rapper...not even on a local mixtape level
