Modern NFL values turnovers over yards given up because every team can move the ball between the 20’s. Turnovers more often than not tell the story of a game.
Not saying he won’t be a very good NFL player, but I do understand why teams would hesitate taking him in the top five. You need to be elite or great on one side of the ball in the NFL. You can’t be very good at both sides and have a team spend a high pick on you.
Only bad game I saw him have at CB was against Stanford. Also isn't the team drafting him responsible for his further development or is he supposed to be a complete project at this point.
