Travis Scott going in on 300 the label

300 was mad because the song wasn't even Travis' to begin with. The reason the song has been taking so long to drop is the labels arguing over whose song it is. Quoting this from the Pick Up the Phone thread:

this was Thug's song
he was gonna make it his single
Starrah was on the hook
Travis randomly went in the studio and found it, so he re-recorded the hook and removed Starrah edit: Travis asked Vinylz for the session, that's how he got it
then he decided to go to clubs promoting the song like he made the whole thing
Lyor and Thug weren't happy with that
that's what the "label problem" is
so Travis decided to be a dumb **** and leak it himself
Travis thought it would be ok if he changed it to "Travis & Thug ft. Quavo"
it should be "Thug ft. Quavo & Travis" or better yet "Thug ft. Quavo & Starrah"

Starrah is the same guy on that G-Eazy song order more the same song that Wiz and Travis used for bake sale. They added some shyt to the final bake sale beat.

I never feel sorry for these artist. Music is a fukking business and at the end if the day, you signed the contract. I hate the way people look at labels like parents or keepers instead of mutual business partners. Anybody can be a about the business but not everybody can do the art. Every artist should be Businesses minded, art and business don't have to do contradict. Dumb nikka doesn't own his shyt and isn't a damn boss so he can't complain. Travis Scott, although I'm a fan of his music is a fukkboy and does shyt like this all the time. He's known as a music thief in the industry. Dude used to stay tryna hijack Wondagirls beats and throw his name along in the production credits. Somebody else called him out on this too.

nothing mysterous about it....."DADDY LYOR" just wanted to get Travis mind right and understand YOU JUST CAN'T PUT SONGS OUT THERE without clearance and most importantly the proper setup ....that setup means = MONETIZE ($$$)

LYOR made it clear to his "son" Thug....he don't want his music out there like lost little orphans..he wants to be more controlling with the music by deciding what gets heard and what doesn't as a way not to saturate the market with music that 300 cant capitilize on....
