This all fact. Don't forget also that Zimmerman had longstanding military/intel links through his dad and paternal grandpa that would have made his doing any serious jail time highly unlikely. IMO,this wasn't a random punk with a gun ,mesmerised by authority looking for a victim but a carefully planned murder.

His father belong to a clandestine/irregular group called International Free and Accepted Masons. Nobody outside of their circle sees them as real freemasons.
