Second year Trae is better than second year Curry.. That really isn't debatable. It doesn't mean all that much since Curry was a late bloomer but Curry fans are looking silly denying that reality.

That’s not true. Trae playing on a bad team with no other real scoring options and he has the greenest light in the nba next to James Harden

Curry was really good even by year two playing next to Monta who was basically an all star at the same position.

Only thing that slowed Curry down was injures. He was always really good. Not to mention bigger and a better shooter than Trae.

All that could be true but Trae is averaging 30 points and 9 assists on good efficiency on a team completely devoid of talent. Trae Young is barely playing with NBA players and is keeping that offense afloat by himself. He is the system.. The fact that Trae is doing this with no other real scoring options is actually a testament to his ability. Year two Curry couldn't do that. Partly because of the philosophy of the league but also because he didn't know how to use his strengths to his advantage like he does now. Curry wasn't allowed to play like Trae is playing and if he was there would be such a learning curve that he wouldn't have played as well as Trae is now.
