Now look up the definition of "Small business" and "People living in poorer communities" cause both of those groups are also included along with with "minoritiy owned businesses. Its not exclusive to minority businesses.

it's actually "people living in poorer communities with limited access to banking." you keep on fudging that condition for whatever reason. even though you pointed out that the facts show that any "limited access to banking" has been officially proven to impact blacks and hispanics, by legal findings in discrimination lawsuits. you are picking and choosing what words to highlight lol :yeshrug:

CDFI = Community Development Financial Institution

I have never applied for funding through one, but I’m looking into it NOW since they have funding they need to spend.

I’d imagine it’s similar to applying for a grant or the PPP loans from last year… the requirements are probably a little stricter in terms of proving you have a real business. On the flip side, grant style programs can be easy to tap into because it’s all about your story, vision, and paperwork… as opposed to a bank where they want to see your cash on hand over 3 months.

Just google CDFI’s in your area and call them for details on borrowing.

This basically. It'll be stricter to apply for. I've mostly done grant work and that's fairly straightforward provided that you register your non-profit. And you get a yes or no within a few weeks in my experience.

Here's the site of the CDFI Funds. More than likely it will go through there. But I haven't seen any specific language as to where to start the process for. It will more than likely be directly through the Reserve.

It also includes all small businesses as I stated and you keep trying to ignore. Its not exclusive to black people and you just conceded above that it includes hispanics and any other group so thanks for proving my point. Whites in poor communities would benefit from this as you stated also.

yeah i'm ignoring it on it's own because the sentence doesn't end there. words mean a everything in legal matters you can't just cut a sentence off and think you know what it means:yeshrug:

i never said it meant only black people, that was clearly not the intent when they point out minorites. but i don't think it means regular white men who are doing just fine in small business like you posted. the whole context + the small business code that was posted doesn't lead to that

#factsnotfeelings

but hey at least you moved the post from "every small business" to know i see you are at least admitting the "poor" part. keep on thinking on it, you'll get it :jawalrus:

So the loans are going to private banks and credit unions who are then supposed to give it out?
To “small AND minority (everyone who isn’t white) businesses? :jbhmm:

Women, white gays.....

YALL MISS THE "SMALL BUSINESSES" PART?

THATS WHITE MEN TOO.

"The answer varies by industry, but a small business is one that has fewer than 1,500 employees and a maximum of $38.5 million in average annual receipts, according to the SBA."

i was curious what their definition of "minority" is for this so i looked it up, i was surprised to find that most cacs, cacettes as a whole, etc. aren't eligible :ehh:
