J.K. Rowling accuses trans rights activists of 'doxxing' after they post her home address on Twitter | National Post
Activists Holly Star, Richard Energy and Georgia Frost posted the photo on November 19, of them standing outside her house with posters that read “Trans rights are human rights”, “Don’t be a cissy” and “Trans liberation now.”
After Rowling’s tweet, Stars, one of the U.K.’s most popular drag talents, posted a statement to social media saying that the activists had removed the photo after receiving online abuse.
“Yesterday we posted a picture we took at JK Rowling’s house. While we stand by the photo, since posting it we have received an overwhelming amount of serious and threatening transphobic messages so we have decided to take the photo down,” she posted.
