It's everything. It's what's made a guy like Frank Gore a HOF caliber back after 2 knee surgeries.
frank gore is the best high school running back i've ever seen. and that's saying a lot in dade county. he lost some explosion after those surgeries but his 6th sense for knowing when to cut is unreal. you can't practice or learn that shyt, it's god-given.

you should ALWAYS favor a RB who makes due without good blocking over one who has Great Blocking and Stats. The Real Deal is always the RB who can get good yardage & a decent average despite poor Oline play.

case in point the below

:blessed: the SWAC baby
that's why i loved watching d'angelo williams when he was at memphis. had a dogshyt team around him and was still good for 150 yards a game, he was that good.

The worst part is the greatest player in their franchise history, who is a RB btw told them not to draft him. :laff:
Joke franchise who will forever be a losers. When they draft players like manziel they will be stuck in the bottom of the barrel atleast teams like jacksonville are making moves while cleveland are stuck in the same position as always shytty ass franchise and city.:mjlol:

You crazy. Eddie has crazy vision and the footwork to go with it

 with type of QB & holes that guy has he should have averaged way more than 4.1yds a carry. His talent is his ability to shed tackles, Decent vision, & he does have great feet.

maybe my hate for the Pack blinds me. I am human :manny:

A lot of people think cutting is just for juking out defenders. a lot of cuts the best RB's make even before breaking the LOS are the ones that set up blocking for them.

IMO Lacy runs into the pile a lot too, he's just big. He won't last long with his running style either. He has talent but he lacks vision too.

You sound like you're still mad about last year :sas2:

Or the year before that

Or the last dozen times we've come to soldier field and kicked that ass

Edit: and did you forget last year was Lacy's rookie season in which he played behind ARod, Seneca Wallace, Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn.

Tons of shyt for RB iq players in the league.

I was at the game Sunday and saw this and everyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Bilal "blind ass" Powell

colon #66 is pulling

colon gets to the OUTSIDE SHOULDER of the man he's blocking. There's a lane between colon and Decker on the outside

Powells impatient ass runs into the wrong hole. I saw it on Sunday.

I was like :mindblown:

I honestly kick myself in the ass for not trying hard to make the league. You have tons of bums that are just dumb runners.

That's why Frank Gore, AD and lynch are so special. Ellington has that shyt in him too. Too bad Marcus Lattimore got hurt because he's the smartest runner I've seen in years

Is Lattimore still not healthy enough to play? It's been like 2 years now

:salute: to those dropping knowledge in this thread

I don't really know how to watch the X's and O's of football since I didn't play past freshmen year of high school.

It's all the little shyt that make the great players great that I can't see with the blind eye.

@NYC Rebel Could you break down a play where an elite runner made a cut where an average back may not have seen the hole?

I remember him coming in for clean up duty back in '01, getting like 8 yards every time he touched it. I said to myself that I'd never seen such a natural runner. He just always seemed to have a knack for finding the right hole, picking the right direction. You also never ever see him lose yards - he always falls forward.
