Cutlers a HUGE part of the problem, but, Trestman is supposed to be an 'offensive guru' 'QB whisperer', look at the articles from when he was hired. He's supposed to be able to handle the gay butler jay cutler crap

I hate this era of coaches getting 2 seasons to win a SB, and if not they're out in the street. We all saw how Trestman had McCown looking like a top QB in the league when Cutler went down, so he has the ability to make the offense work. The defense sucks and Cutler makes worse decisions than McCown. Not enough to fire Trestman IMO. Way too soon.

the reason he's getting fired is cuz the team don't respect that dude. the bears have been on national tv the last 3 weeks in a row, and they have gotten embarrased each time. you think trestman is gonna go unscathed when the entire NFL and the media are talking shyt about the franchise????? how much longer are the owners gonna tolerate being the laughing stock of the NFL???
only reason cutler gets to stay is cuz of all that money the foolishly offered him. but the GM should be fired simply cuz giving cutler that contract was the equivalent of taking $60M and setting it on fire.
and if trestman is out, that means all the coordinators should be out as well. which makes sense. you gotta start from the top down. GM and head coach gots to go

that clown is just trying to save his own ass, when he's the one who hired trestman over bruce arians (he actually told arians he couldn't hire his own coordinators) and gave cutler that dumb contract.
Some of y'all that aren't in the Chi I could see how you'd be on the 'lets wait and see' thing. But the past few posters are right. Cutler goes out there and does shyt that should get his ass kicked in the locker room. Just bc they beat Tampa and Minnesota isn't enough of a pass. Then after the cutler suckfest that's called our offense, the D goes out there and plays like they just met each other. shyts a joke from top to bottom.

I disagree. dude's playcalling has been laughable this season. 3rd and long, they throw a 3 yard screen. that's been the staple of the offense. have the 2nd leading rusher in the NFL (in 2013) on the roster,and they only give him the ball like 15 times a game.
and oh yeah, dude ran a fake punt on monday night football with only 10 players on the field......

NOT only were there 10 men on the field, but they were lined up in an illegal formation. so even if they picked up the 3 yards for the first (which they didn't), the result was a 5 yard penalty regardless, negating that stupid ass play.

him getting fired is the worst kept secret in the NFL. lot of people were calling it when they got beat down by like 40 by the patriots. then went on the bye week, and lost by 40 to the packers on sunday night football on national tv. that was around week 10 or 11.
